Yes, VroomDude… I do believe that some renegade idiot from the team could fiddle with the car without anyone noticing. I’m sure they have good security in the garages both at home and at the races to keep unauthorized people at bay, but if someone from the team approaches the car, I doubt they’re going to question it. Well, they may now, but not before. I’ve been backstabbed and tricked by co-workers and “friends” in the past and I fully believe that, especially on a new team, an idiot would cause trouble on his own. You just can’t trust everyone.
I am a big fan of Michael Waltrip.. and I do believe he is sincere when he says he didn’t even want to race this weekend after what had happened. If you go by track record (no pun intended), I still believe Michael Waltrip is a good, honest guy. Some of the other drivers, not so much.
And VroomDude does have a good point. Steroids anyone? Raping, pillaging, gun-possession anyone? I think compared to the other sports out there, NASCAR still has a good reputation as being made up of good folks. Yes, let’s crack down on cheating like this week, but don’t go nuts and take the fun out of the sport.

Sounds like VroomChick knows what she’s talking about……….give Mikey the benefit of the doubt. I believe he’s an upright kind of guy………..what’s done is done…..let’s go racin’ boys! Peace, Mike.
