Kevin Harvick takes the Daytona 500

What an exciting end to the race!  We were screaming for Mark Martin, but I’ll take a Harvick win, too.  Anyone but Kyle Busch, who managed to wiggle his way into taking out the rest of the field.

The ever Never-Consistant NASCAR didn’t throw the caution under after Kevin took the checkered flag… I should hope Mark is smart enough to keep racing, even if he expected the yellow.  I just have to think that Kevin got such a huge run on him… it looked like Mark slowed up, thinking there was a caution… but why would he do that when they’re ahead of the wreck?  Oh well.  It’s done.  I’m happy for Kevin, but how cool would it have been if Mark had won?  That’s racin’ for ya.

Harvick was in the lead when Kyle wiggled, so either way…yellow or speed, Happy is the champ!
